Asia's Hope Schools

Most children living at Asia’s Hope homes attend public or private schools in their local communities. When the available educational resources are inadequate, we will augment our kids’ schooling with interventions that range from tutors and afterschool study programs to entirely new schools that we can run according to our own high standards.

In Cambodia, our kids in Prek Eng and Battambang were struggling to succeed in schools plagued by overcrowding, underfunding and teacher absenteeism. After years of more limited interventions, we decided to start our own schools.

The Asia’s Hope Primary School, Prek Eng, Cambodia

Located on our campus just outside Phnom Penh, Cambodia, this K–6 school serves 125 students from Asia’s Hope and from the surrounding neighborhoods. The school is specifically geared toward students who have experienced poverty and other adverse childhood experiences. Underprivileged children from the community receive a high quality Christian education made affordable by need-based financial aid.

This school is helping children who had a rough start get the educational foundations they’ll need to succeed in middle and high school.

The Asia’s Hope Secondary School, Battambang, Cambodia

Located on our Battambang, Cambodia campus, this 7–12 grade secondary school has a capacity of 325 students from Asia’s Hope and the surrounding community. We have recruited teachers from across the country, and aspire to provide the most underprivileged children in Cambodia with the kind of education that only wealthy families could otherwise provide.

Our students are succeeding where so many of their peers have not. In 2017, 100% of our graduating 12th graders passed the highly competitive national university entrance exam! Nationwide, the pass rate was only 54%. All of these students intend to continue on to university. Those living in Asia’s Hope homes will receive full-ride scholarships thanks to the generosity of our supporters.
