More4Orphans Summit, Columbus, Ohio, March 9-10, 2012

Asia's Hope is excited to be a part of the More4Orphans Summit at Vineyard Church of Columbus in Columbus, Ohio, March 9-10, 2012. 

The More4Orphans Summit will bring focus to the orphan crisis in our world today and explore ways we can all help the most vulnerable among us. The summis features three tracts: Global Orphan Care, Foster and Adoption, and will include many speakers, breakout sessions, exhibitors and time for prayer and worship. 

The speakers include:

Dr. Wess Stafford, the President & CEO of Compassion International, an internationally recognized advocate for children in poverty. One of the world's largest Christian child development agencies, they have served more than one million children in 26 countries partnering with more than 60 denominations and thousands of local churches. 

Carolyn Twietmeyer, the Founder and Executive Director of Project HOPEFUL. She and her busband Kiel are parents to 14 children, adopting from Ethiopia three times (two sibling groups of three children). Project HOPEFUL is dedicated to educating, encouraging and enabling families and individuals to advocate for and adopt children with HIV/AIDS.

Alex Krutov, the Director of Development & Co-Founder of The Harbor. Abandoned by his mother in a dumpster in Russia at three days old, Alex was placed in the Russian orphanage system. His childhood included adoption, abuse, running away, living on the streets and a return to the orphanage system. He co-founded The Harbor, a ministry to emancipated orphans in Russia.

John McCollum, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Asia's Hope. John and his wife Kori are adoptive parents of three children from Vietnam, Korea and China. John co-founded Asia's Hope in 2001. Asia's Hope is a multi-denominational organization providing long-term, residential care for orphaned children in Cambodia, Thailand and India.
