Kids from Asia's Hope Thailand recently celebrated their hard work and athletic achievements in soccer and cricket. Soccer players from our homes in Doi Saket and Wiang Pa Pao recently participated in regional tournament play — the kids from Doi Saket participated in teams that captured the Chiang Mai Provice championship title, while the kids from Wiang Pa Pao contributed to the victory of their teams in Chiang Rai Province tournament.  And, of course, the Cricket players from our Doi Saket homes recently led their teams to the National Championship title at the Thailand National Youth Games.

The soccer players will soon join their teams as they advance to national level competition, while the cricket teams will soon move on to international play.

Four girls and six boys from Asia’s Hope Thailand recently represented Chiang Mai Province at the Thailand National Youth Games tournament, which was held in Nakhon Ratchasima City, Thailand. Playing in age groupings from the U12 division to the High School division, these talented, hard working kids helped to lead their teams to victory! Two of the girls even received the "Best Hit" award for their age grouping. Please join us in congratulating the 2016 Thailand National Youth Games Cricket Champions!

And stay tuned....all 10 kids will soon represent the nation of Thailand in international competition at the Asian Youth Championship — we're all rooting for you!
