Asia’s Hope is a Christian non-profit organization based in Columbus, Ohio providing family-style, community-based care for orphaned and vulnerable children in Cambodia, Thailand and India.

Job Summary

  • The Director of Media will be responsible for the production, management and dissemination of all Asia’s Hope’s audio, video, web and photographic materials and assets. 

  • They will ensure the consistency, quality and timeliness of Asia’s Hope’s web and social media presence, and will oversee the training of international media staff, volunteers and contractors. 

  • They will develop and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the ongoing implementation of media and social media strategies.

  • They will oversee SEO and digital advertising. 

  • They will help the Executive Director with communication, branding and fundraising strategy, and will generate relevant video and web content to assist the Director of Strategic Relationships in communicating with and retaining donors and partners.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High-level videography and photography 

  • Knowledge of social media and digital advertising

  • Storytelling and scripting for video and interactive media

  • Experience developing and managing production budgets

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Alignment with Asia’s Hope’s vision and mission

  • Ability to travel overseas and out-of-town 6–8 weeks a year — possibly on short notice

  • Strong creative, strategic, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (due to travel-related requirements)

  • Must possess or be eligible to receive a U.S. passport
