New orphan home in Cambodia!
"You are the helper of the fatherless. LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more." -- Psalms 10:14, 17–18
Thanks to the generosity of Jeremiah's Hope, the family-run foundation that also sponsors Prek Eng 4, Asia's Hope has now opened its 18th orphan home, Prek Eng 5!
Situated in a suburb of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Prek Eng 5 is now home to 10 kids, but will house 20 at full capacity.
Each of these kids received new clothes, a haircut and a shower, but it's clear from their faces that they're scared and confused. Compare, however, their faces with those of the kids who have been with us for a while. It doesn't take long for the love and safety to do its work. Very soon, these kids will be smiling and singing, regaining their childhood a little bit at a time.
Please pray for these kids, for their new parents and for this home. And praise God with us for his goodness, his mercy and his faithfulness!
