“There are so many who would like to enjoy the benefits of partnership, but cannot commit to sponsoring a whole home. That’s why we’re introducing The Asia’s Hope Himalayan Partnership.” — John McCollum, Executive Director, Asia’s Hope

This partnership will underwrite emergency expenses and unforeseen needs, provide education and training for our kids — and staff. It’ll allow us to repair and improve our facilities, and conduct special projects and events that will enhance the lives of children living at Asia’s Hope — and needy families in the local community. But most importantly, the partnership will allow us to build the organizational capacity to add more homes for orphaned and vulnerable children who desperately need the safety and support of a stable, loving Asia’s Hope family. To make all of this possible, we need 25 new partners — churches, businesses, families or individuals — to commit to giving or raising at least $500/month, starting in January 2020.

At our 34 children’s homes in Cambodia, Thailand and India, more than 800 precious children — who came to us orphaned and vulnerable to sexual and economic exploitation — now experience life as God intended: as members of a loving, stable family.

Thanks to the care they receive from their Asia’s Hope families, these kids don’t just survive, they thrive. They are succeeding in school, and are even outpacing their peers who grew up in more traditional family settings.

In fact, we’re currently providing full-ride university and vocational training scholarships to more than a hundred young adults who have graduated from Asia’s Hope homes.

Most of our projects receive long-term, comprehensive support from a church, business or family participating in our “whole home sponsorship” funding model. This model has been — and will continue to be — the financial and relational lifeblood of our organization.

But there are so many who would like to enjoy the benefits of partnership — including the privilege of visiting the staff and kids of Asia’s Hope and the joy of receiving regular updates on children in our care — but cannot commit to sponsoring a whole home.

That’s why we’re introducing The Asia’s Hope Himalayan Partnership, and inviting churches, businesses, families and individuals to help us raise a total of $150,000 a year — above and beyond the funds the sponsors of our six homes in Kalimpong, India currently provide

This initiative will allow us to fully meet the needs of the 140 children currently living in these homes, and will allow us to consider adding more homes in the future.

Please take a few moments to learn more about the staff and kids at our homes in Kalimpong, about our unique brand of family-style care and about how you can join the Himalayan Partnership today.
