Battambang 4 -- March/April Update

The home parent update this month was full of encouraging news. Two students are studying at University of Mekong -- one, who studies Banking, is finishing his second year, while the other is in her first year of her Accounting studies. Two other students, thanks to our generous partners from Bright Start Learning, are receiving a scholarship to attend a local private school: these two students, a 7th grader and a 11th grader, were each ranked 2nd in their class at this very competitive school. In addition to all of this, they worked hard in preparation for the Khmer New Years festivities, which included the first even Asia's Hope Soccer Tournament and an Easter Outreach that was attended by nearly 2000 people.

Please continue to keep these children in your thoughts or prayers. Pray especially for one of the 12th graders who is preparing for her final graduation exam and also one of the boys who is currently sick with the Chicken Pox.
