Battambang 5 -- March/April Update

The Battambang 5 kids and home parents enjoyed visiting with the familiar faces from their sponsoring church, Western Reserve Church of Macedonia, Ohio. They enjoyed special meals and outings together, re-connecting with the returning members of their sponsoring church. In addition to all of this, they worked hard in preparation for the Khmer New Years festivities, which included the first even Asia's Hope Soccer Tournament and an Easter Outreach that was attended by nearly 2000 people.

The home parents also wanted to communicate that two of their 7th graders received special commendations from their school -- one was ranked 2nd in her class and the other young lady was ranked 3rd!
