Prek Eng 3 -- March/April Update

Easter, the Khmer New Year, the wedding of Srey Pich of Prek Eng 1, and even a visit from a team from their sponsoring church, marked the months of March and April. Not only did the kids celebrate these events in true Cambodian fashion, with special meals and pig-roasts, but some of the children took the traditional Khmer New Year's trip back to their home villages, enjoying a visit with their extended family and former neighbors.

Somehow they also found time to study -- two of the children even received high class ranks, 1 and 2. And one of the older children continues to excel in the University courses.

As you keep the children and staff in your thoughts and prayers this month, please pray for health and safety, especially one of the staff, Khom, who is receiving treatment for cancer. The staff report that the treatment is going very well and that she is feeling much better -- please keep her in your prayers.
